Known for their apple orchards the southern Appliachan soil is ideal for grape growing. After a day of hiking or antiquing visit one of the  local family owned tasting rooms and enjoy mountain views, outdoor fireplaces and at some owner led tours. Many offer cheese & platters for purchase or bring your own to snack on while enjoying a glass of fine wine and live entertainment.
